I’ve followed this incredible colorist Tracey Cunningham throughout my entire career, so getting the opportunity to learn from her in person was truly one of those pinch-me moments. She was absolutely fabulous as a mentor in this class—sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for creating beautiful hair.

Ft. Lauderdale is off to a GREAT start! 🌴☀️

Did you know there’s an island nearby FULL of raccoons?! 🦝 We got to feed and hydrate so many of them, saw dolphins and crabs, cruised past incredible mansions and yachts, and swam on a beautiful sandbar! 🌊🐬🦀

We topped it all off with dinner by the ocean and then checked in at our convention. And HOLY MOLY… we cannot believe all the new goodies we have to play with in our swag bags! 🎁✨

Tomorrow, things get REAL! 💇‍♀️✂️ All-day hair education followed by a DISCO PARTY at night! 🪩🕺💃

Another month has flown by! I can’t believe it’s already the end of July.

I’m so grateful for another month spent with all of your smiling faces—and all of your heads of hair! ❤️ Thank you for trusting me with your style, your stories, and a little bit of your time. I appreciate every appointment, every referral, and every one of you.

Here’s to a great August! I can’t wait to see what the next month brings.

Getting to work alongside your kid, laughing all day, catching up on life, and making your hair gorgeous… we’re living the dream. ✨ Yesterday was filled with so many little gems—those funny, unforgettable moments that make salon life the best. And just like that, another month is coming to an end.

I’ve had quite a few people ask me about these curling machines, so I figured I’d get one and give it a spin.

I did my whole long head of hair in about 15 minutes. It did pull a couple times—not bad, just enough to notice. It also gets incredibly hot, so I wouldn’t recommend it for fine, fragile, or heavily highlighted hair unless you remove the hair before the automatic timer finishes.

Overall, I can absolutely see why so many people enjoy using these. They’d be great for younger people, beginners, or anyone who tends to burn themselves with a traditional curling iron. As someone who’s already pretty quick with a curling iron, it probably won’t make it into my regular bag of tricks, but it was fun to test out.
