We love when our neighbors share their favorite recipes and this one from Jan-Marie Wolfe has us running to the kitchen.

For the cake you will need one box of white or yellow cake mix, one small box of vanilla instant pudding, 4 eggs, 3/4 cup water, and 3/4 cup oil. Mix it all together and beat for about 5 minutes. Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake at 50 to 60 minutes until a cake tester comes out clean. Let it sit for 15 minutes before loosening and flipping onto your cake plate.

For the glaze mix together 1/4 cup melted butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1/2 cup lemon juice while the cake is baking and set aside until ready.

Simple, beautiful, and that lemon glaze is everything. Find this recipe and more in your June issue of Stroll Edinburgh!

Bobby and Jennifer Pearson recently opened The Back Nine right here in our community and it is everything. Indoor simulators, 65 famous virtual courses, games, competitions, and a welcoming vibe that is perfect for golfers of all levels. Oh and it is open 24/7.

But what makes it really special is the people behind it. Bobby and Jennifer built this place because they genuinely love the game and wanted to create somewhere neighbors could connect, have fun, and grow together. That kind of heart shows.

June is one of my favorite issues to put together. Graduations, milestones, summer excitement, and this year we got to celebrate our incredible Content Coordinator Kim Glass retiring after 30 YEARS in education. So well deserved.

Meet Beatrix Glass, aka Miss Bea. A few months ago she was alone in a kennel at the Henry County Animal Shelter with no hope left.

Today she is stealing shoes, collecting tennis balls from the neighbors, and wearing a disco collar at night in the Burgh. What a glow up.
