Making the most of this September and drinking in all the joy surrounding me. I have taken some time off, I’m also working a bit extra. I have Saturday availability coming up 🤗 my actual birthday is the 18th and I’ve been celebrating all month long. Once Dutch oven has preheated to 450, place your risen dough (on parchment paper) place in oven with the lid for 35 minutes. Lower temperature to 400 for an additional 10-15 minutes with the lid OFF. Remove bread from Dutch oven, allow to rest for an hour on a cooling rack.

After letting dough rise for one hour, knead and re-cover for an additional hour. After second hour I add in flavor- garlic and onion powder are my favorite. Fold them in, transfer dough to wax paper. Coat in olive oil and let rest for 20 mins while Dutch oven preheats to 450 degrees

Homemade Bread 🍞 4c flour, 2tsp sugar, 2tsp salt, 2 1/4tsp yeast, 2 cups warm water. Mix all dry ingredients and add in water. Mix until dough forms into a ball. Cover tightly and let rise for 1-2 hours. Stay tuned for next steps
