Birthday Hair 🎂✨

7 hours of color correction in less than 2 minutes. 😂 😅

This one was a PROCESS, a JOURNEY if you will, but honestly, one of the most fun ones.

Haven and I actually started working on this correction weeks before she ever sat in my chair for the big day. We did weekly clarifying shampoo blowouts at the salon to intentionally fade out as much of the existing color as possible, and that prep work made SUCH a difference when it was finally time to tackle the correction.
And then came the 7 hour appointment. 😂

We laughed, told stories, caught up, Haven read some of her new book that she’s SO excited about, and along the way it turned into a little hangout sesh with her sweet little dragon girl (photo bomb in here somewhere🐉❤️)

That’s my favorite part of doing hair, yes, I LOVE the transformation, but I also love the time we spend together getting there.

The results were SO worth all of the intentional time, patience, and prep that we put into this. Color corrections aren’t about rushing to the finish line. Sometimes the best results come from being willing to take our time and do it RIGHT.

And now my beautiful friend has herself some brand new birthday hair. 🥹🎂✨
