Cackleberry Grove

Update on my mother in law and Brad.

Brad- he has had a very hard couple of weeks! The stress on top of new medication and dosages have had us in the ambulance 3 time, ICU overnight with 3 tonic clonic seizures and 2 impaired focal seizures within the last two weeks! We can only go up another 100mg before he is maxed out on this medication. As most of you may know…it’s wedding week for our oldest daughter, Kaitlyn and her fiancé, Garrett! Please keep us in your prayers specifically that brads seizures stop and allows him to be present at their wedding. (He had another seizure last night during dinner)

Oneda- she is in a rehab/nursing home to regain strength and mobility. She got a special visit from her pup, Sassy, this weekend and was so happy! Please pray that she continues to make progress and that she is able to attend the wedding. She is supposed to be one of Kaits flower grannies!
We have enjoyed Brads brother, Tony, over the last two weeks! Sassy finally decided she would like uncle Tony😭

Josiah turned 12 this weekend too! We got to celebrate him with dinner and cheesecake last night. These kiddos grow up way too fast!

Update:

Brad is home! He is doing great! Still very weak and getting his feet back under him. They increased his medication.

Brads mom did great throughout her surgery and the blood cultures came back negative this time! She is still VERY confused. We would like to she her moving a lot more and be able to get out of bed.

This last week has been extremely stressful. Brads mother fell last Sunday and didn’t tell anyone. The neighbor found her Wednesday and called for an ambulance. We brought her home with us from Alabama, but had to take her back at 4am to the hospital. she is currently having a procedure done and there are several battles she is fighting. (She is still at Vanderbilt Tullahoma )

This morning at 2:15 am Brad had a tonic clonic seizure and was taken to Vanderbilt Tullahoma. He was released and sent home. We were there for one hour and he had a second tonic clonic seizure and fell when he tried to get up. When he got to the ER he had a 3rd clonic tonic seizure and has been having blood pressure issues. We will be transferring to Nashville soon.

Needless to say, we need prayer! It has been a hectic and I will get out current orders asap!
