The fact that I can say “I’m here for business” is nothing but God. Perennial Peaces takes on New York! 🍎 This city has a way of reminding you how big your dreams are allowed to be. 🌟

The biggest shoutout of my time here will go to Nest Nest — a nonprofit that’s been investing in makers and artisan entrepreneurs like me for almost 20 years now. They have truly been a game changer in my entrepreneurial journey through grants, free training, mentorship, and connections to impactful opportunities!

Stepping out on faith with my strange little idea to make jewelry using fabric has gotten me here. And I’m going to soak it all in!!

More to come from this trip — stay tuned. 💜✌🏽

Today’s delivery stop: Arbor Acres. 😍 She got two pairs of clip-on earrings for Christmas gifts 🎁

Customized orders mean I get to sit with someone’s story for a while: what they want to remember, who they want to honor, what feels like ✨them✨. Sometimes I know a little, sometimes I know a lot, but it is all special to me.

I feel honored every time someone trusts me to create a “peace” of wearable art.

If you’ve ever thought about customizing a “peace” that will be unique to you, reach out to me! 💜

Before they’re earrings, they’re just raw materials on my table. But then the wire is shaped, the resin is poured, and the beads are picked one by one to match what you had in mind.

For this custom order, every part was bent by handcrafted with care. No shortcuts, no machines — just time and attention from start to finish.

This is the part of the process I never get tired of. Watching a bunch of mixed materials turn into something someone will wear and love.

Which step surprises you most about how Perennial Peaces jewelry is made? The wire, the fabric, the resin, or the beading? Tell me in the comments 👀👇🏽

Hubby‘s favorite sport is Formula 1 and he watches it every Sunday. Today I wanted to be the commentator to see if he could follow along. This is how we enjoy our rest day after church. 😂🥶

A customer came to me with a ring that had a missing stone... and a piece of her mom’s handkerchief she’d been saving for years. 🥹

She wanted them combined into something entirely new — and that’s my favorite kind of custom request! 💜

My answer is always the same: “Let’s test it out and see what we create together.”

I can’t do it all, but I can take my hands, my creativity, and whatever sentimental piece you bring me and turn it into jewelry that tells your story. This is why I love what I do, and why I keep growing in it. ✨

Have fabric you’d love to see reimagined? Tell me about it below, I’d love to hear your story. 👇🏽

First events after the summer hiatus had me so excited but afterwards all I could think about is WHY DID THE SUN HAVE TO DO ME LIKE THAT!? It was hotter than the devil’s toe nail as they say but I’m so grateful I no longer have to do this alone. I have great people behind the scenes that help move things along and it feels so surreal that this crazy idea of making jewelry with fabric and felt has lead me here and has created opportunities for others. God is good y’all, no matter the weather ☀️!

Have a good day !!
