You may be able to draw each stroke very fine, smooth, and consistent.
But if you don’t know where each stroke should be placed, which direction it should follow, and how it should connect with the surrounding strokes, the overall pattern can still look stiff, messy, and unbalanced.
Don’t just practice technique. Learn design thinking.

LESSON 33 – SERIES D: 7 COMMON MISTAKES IN DOUYIN BROW STROKE DESIGN
7 common mistakes when designing Douyin brow strokes:
1. Following the wrong design sequence — drawing strokes before defining the Spine and Flow.
2. The Spine is correct, but the Flow still looks stiff.
3. The Flow is correct, but the stroke pattern still looks messy because the rhythm and spacing are not well controlled.
4. Visual Weight is placed in the wrong area.
5. Negative Space is lost when adding Layers.
6. There are multiple Layers, but no real Depth.
7. Not knowing when to stop.
Douyin brow design is not about drawing as many strokes as possible. It is about controlling Spine – Flow – Weight – Negative Space – Layer and knowing when to stop at the right moment.
The in-depth analysis and how to correct each mistake are already available in the learning area. Please follow the lessons in the correct order.

7 errores comunes al diseñar trazos Douyin:
1. Seguir un orden incorrecto al diseñar: dibujar los trazos antes de definir el Spine y el Flow.
2. El Spine es correcto, pero el Flow todavía se ve rígido.
3. El Flow es correcto, pero el patrón de trazos sigue viéndose desordenado porque el ritmo y el espacio no están bien controlados.
4. El Visual Weight está ubicado en una zona incorrecta.
5. Se pierde el Negative Space al agregar Layers.
6. Hay varios Layers, pero no hay verdadera Depth.
7. No saber cuándo detenerse.
El diseño Douyin no consiste en dibujar la mayor cantidad de trazos posible. Se trata de controlar Spine – Flow – Weight – Negative Space – Layer y saber detenerse en el momento correcto.
