Tea, notebook, and me actually sitting down and paying attention.

Jotting notes, asking questions, getting back into it slowly and on purpose. It’s been a while since I’ve been in the treatment room, and there’s something really grounding about coming back to it this way. No rush. Just remembering what I already know and letting it come back.

Outside, under that tarp, is the studio space I’m building this weekend. I keep looking out there and smiling. It’s everything I ever wanted. It’s intentional. I’m building something that actually fits me this time.

I’m starting with a handful of clients. People I can really focus on, take my time with, and document properly. The kind of work I’ve always cared about but didn’t always have space for. Coming soon to YouTube.

Going back to my roots feels so natural. Using again, simplifying things, giving the skin what it actually needs. It’s reminded me how much I love this work when it just… makes sense.

Same with bringing technology back in. (I 💙 .official ) It doesn’t take away from the connection for me, it deepens it in a different way. It’s more about paying attention, being present, and working with intention instead of force.

Everything about this feels quieter, simpler, and more honest than the way I’ve done it before.

And I think that’s why it feels so right.

I got my esthetics license on March 17th, 2004.

Which means… this industry and I have been in a 22-year relationship.

I’ve been a solo esthetician for over 20 years.

In that time I built and ran a successful day spa, trained estheticians, created online education, and generated millions of dollars in this industry doing work I genuinely love.

But something I realized along the way is this:

Being a great esthetician isn’t enough.
