Sunday mornings should be relaxing and our brunch is built for that pace. Made-to-order omelets, carved prime rib, grilled salmon and a pastry table with house-made bagels and cookies that disappear faster than the staff can restock them.
The plan usually is to walk the buffet twice before committing to anything. Brunch is open to the public, too, so if you're local and looking for a reason to make the drive out, this is a good one.

School starts soon in most places, which makes this stretch of August feel like the last part of summer for a lot of families.
Parents get a few hours back to ride, hike or do absolutely nothing, and kids get to be outside, off screens and mildly dirt-covered by the end of the day. Book now if you're trying to squeeze in one more trip before the backpacks show up.

Every good weekend needs a proper send-off, and ours comes with pancakes. The Prickly Pear Harvest Weekend closes out Sunday morning at the Old Homestead with our signature pancakes, made with the same fruit guests harvested two days earlier.
This runs for only two weekends - Aug. 14–16 and Aug. 21–23, and both weekends book before most people think to reserve.

Archery earns respect out here in a way some of our other activities don't. Distances run from 15 to 30 feet, calibrated to keep it genuinely accessible for anyone seven and up, and there's something about the discipline of it that guests end up sticking with longer than they planned to.

Every summer we host reunions for family members who haven't been in the same place for years. There's a reason it works better here than a rented house.
Everyone has their own room. The shared spaces, horse corral, pool and long dinner tables create the atmosphere for good conversation.
Our events team handles the logistics for groups of any size, so the person who usually ends up organizing everything gets to attend their own event for once.

Our TVR leadership team traded spreadsheets for spatulas this week for our annual Employee Appreciation BBQ! 🤠
It's our way of thanking the incredible associates who make the Ranch what it is. A dunk tank gave the team some well-earned payback, and we raffled off prizes!
To our staff: thank you for everything you do. This Ranch runs because of you.
