How I keep my son's room clean & fresh all day 💙 | Autism Mom Routine

Real life with autism means extra steps, and that's okay.

This plastic cover protects his mattress, and every morning I wipe it down with Jik + water, then air the room. No smell, no stain, just fresh.

It's not about being perfect. It's about dignity, routine, and a safe space for him to sleep well.

He learns differently, not less. Different pace, same destination.

I try as much as I can to include him in activities with the other kids Im hoping this helps him understand our normal

In our culture, we often say "let me help you quick" because we love our children. But sometimes love is waiting. Watching. Cheering.

Inclusion at home means:
👕 Same chores, just more time
🧩 Clear steps, not shouting
💙 Celebrate effort, not just perfect

He is not included because he is perfect. He is included because he belongs.

I have just realised that I am also stil learning about my son, he appeared to not understand much and only to find out that he does understand, guys don’t judge a book by it’s cover
