About the Role
Vivalon Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Estate Sister (Registered Nurse) to take on a senior leadership role within our residential care environment. This position is integral to ensuring high-quality, structured, and resident- and family-centred care.
You will oversee and coordinate all aspects of healthcare delivery within the estate, supporting both residents and staff while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and oversight of all care delivery within the estate
• Deliver and coordinate nursing care, therapeutic interventions, and pharmacy services
• Ensure a structured, safe, and resident-focused care environment
• Lead and support the care team through effective planning, supervision, and mentorship
• Drive process improvement, staff training, and integration with healthcare programmes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting standards
• Facilitate appropriate referrals based on clinical assessments
Minimum Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid licence from the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience in residential / estate / frail care environments
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Strong understanding of interdisciplinary care approaches
• Knowledge of the Older Persons Act
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
