She came in as a client. She’s now one of my most loyal regulars. Here’s what kept her coming back.
She usually doesn’t like wearing makeup.
In fact, she always asks me for the bare minimum—super natural, almost like “I’m not wearing anything at all.”
But this time… I gently pushed her out of her comfort zone.
I kept her base extremely lightweight—just enough to even out her skin without covering it.
Then I added something she’s never really asked for before: more color, more dimension, and a soft glow on the eyes with subtle liner to lift the look.
She finally let me do her brows too.
No powder on the skin at all—on purpose.
Because I wanted that fresh, skin-like finish she’s always secretly loved but never thought she could have while still wearing makeup.
And the result?

This beautiful Russian bride flew in for her destination wedding in Johannesburg —
and we didn’t do a trial beforehand due to the distance.
But we made it work 🤍
She initially wanted something very minimal and natural (like you see in the first look).
When she looked in the mirror, she loved it… but felt like she wanted more.
