Sometimes you hear someone say, They’ll come looking for me when they’re in trouble or when death strikes. Especially in our Shona culture, those words are common in broken relationships but dear one, don’t be that person.
Be calm and wise. Only God knows your future or someone else’s. Don’t pretend to care just to make others feel guilty or to manipulate emotions. And if you say, They’ll come looking for me, who told you you’ll still be alive when that happens?
If you're a believer, correct one another now, while there's still time don’t wait for tragedy. Don’t hold on to bitterness waiting for revenge or sickness to strike someone. If you do, you’re behaving like a witch. Don’t accuse others of being wicked while your own heart is full of malice.
Beloved, true faith is rooted in love. Jesus said, Love one another as I have loved you. That’s the great love of Christ He loved us before we knew Him and revealed Himself to us.
So I say to you: if someone wrongs you, approach them with light and correction not with threats of revenge. If they refuse to change, leave it to God. The Bible says clearly, Do not repay evil for evil.
📖 Romans 12:17-18 (KJV) Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
