HYPERPIGMENTATION! 😨🤯
So many people including me struggle with it.
Pigmentation occurs for a number of reason most common being sun damage. It tends to get worse with hormonal change like pregnancy or menopause.
Ok! So it’s there. Now what to do?

Above is a chart which basically explains what colour correcting is :
When you use a colour OPPOSITE on a colour wheel to the colour of your pigmentation, dark circles , rosacea- then it neutralizes it.
For example : pigmentation is normally dark brown , grey. Using a peach colour or orange ( depending on your skin tone ) tends to neutralize it. Not cover up but neutralize.
Rosacea tends to be red. Opposite of red is green : which will neutralize it.
You get the drift.

Coming back to pigmentation. Step 1:
Moisturize your face well. As all these products will get patch otherwise.
I would recommend a serum and then a deep moisturizing cream.
DONT FORGET SUNSCREEN!
Take a bit of your peach/orange corrector and put some on the back of your hand to warm it up. With a small flat brush , start working on the areas. Bit by bit. And keep patting the areas with your ring finger afterwards to blend it in.
Little by little , bit by bit.
Note again you will not be concealing the pigmentation but neutralizing it which you will see later.
If you use just a concealer to cover up without using a corrector. You will notice it being grey after wards. No matter how much concealer you have put.

Once this is done. Then go over the areas again with a concealer. Any concealer is fine. Make sure you do gently pata not to remove the corrector. Follow up with your foundation and setting powder etc.
This method goes for dark circles , rosacea, shallow skin. Any area which you want correcting on.

Today did a turquoise eyeshadow mixed with a dark black at the edges. I will try and get a better pic for you to see but basically it was a glitter turquoise over the entire eye lid and then I topped it with a black eye shadow with a rounded brush to take the edge off. ( as I have been saying … round fluffy = less product more blended. Flat brush:more pigment
