🌸 Threads of Dignity - standing with Women and Girls in Afghanistan 🌸
We are proud to share a powerful new campaign led by our fantastic partner dedicated to supporting women and girls across Afghanistan with dignity, care, and opportunity.
Threads of Dignity is rooted in solidarity with Afghan women. In collaboration with German cyclist Maria West, the campaign carries stories of strength and resilience across borders as Maria cycles through Asia amplifying voices that must be heard.
Through this initiative, donations support the Salamati Program: a holistic approach combining dignity, menstrual health, education, healing spaces, and women-led employment. Funds go directly toward Salamati Kits, providing reusable menstrual products to women and girls who otherwise cannot afford them, ensuring no one has to choose between menstrual care and basic life necessities.
The campaign also supports the Gift of Learning Kit, delivered to courageous Afghan girls studying in underground schools and temporary learning spaces. Each kit provides up to two years of access to reusable sanitary pads, alongside essential learning materials, helping girls continue their education with confidence and care.
We invite you to watch the video, share it within your networks, and help amplify this important message. Every share helps extend the circle of dignity and support.

💧 Myth Busted: “You need lots of water to wash reusable pads” 🚫
Many believe reusable pads require buckets of water to stay clean, but that’s far from the truth!
Fact: Safepad is designed with an antimicrobial treatment that fights bacteria growth, making it safe and hygienic even when washed with small amounts of water. 🌿
This means women and girls in areas with limited water supply can still manage their periods safely, confidently, and with dignity.
With Safepad, you’re not just saving money, you’re saving resources and protecting health.
💡 Safe. Smart. Sustainable and made in Afghanistan.

🌸 Introducing the Salamati Circle in Afghanistan 🌸
Since August 2021, Afghan women have faced increasing isolation, anxiety, and exclusion. Together with our amazing local partner SafePath Prosperity, we’ve created the Salamati Circle — a safe and supportive space where women can work, connect, and heal.
At the heart of it is the Safepad Production Center — a respectful and empowering workplace where women not only earn an income, but also share experiences, talk about mental health, and support each other.
This is more than production. It’s dignity, dialogue, and real change. 💪

🩸 Periods don’t stop in emergencies — and neither should support.
On World Refugee Day, we stand with displaced women and girls 🌍 who are forced to navigate menstruation under the most difficult conditions — often without access to safe, hygienic products 🚫🧼.
Safepad is designed to meet this need.
🛡 Antimicrobial. ♻ Reusable. 💧 Reliable — even without access to clean water.
Because dignity should never be a luxury 💕.
