Gjatë këtij viti, IOM dhe mbështetën të rinj në Dibër, Kukës dhe Korçë për t’i kthyer idetë e tyre në nisma konkrete për komunitetin.

Një prej tyre është Denisa, pjesë e grupit RID, të cilët përmes iniciativës “RID Hub: Rikthim & Integrim në Dibër” krijuan një hapësirë ku të rinjtë mund të informohen, të angazhohen, të ndajnë ide dhe të njihen me histori frymëzuese të emigrantëve të kthyer.

Si pjesë e konkursit , iniciativa promovoi mundësitë lokale dhe nxiti përfshirjen e të rinjve në zhvillimin e zonës. Swipe për të zbuluar më shumë.

This week, IOM Albania conducted a series of focus group discussions with institutions, employers, employment agencies, trade unions, civil society organisations, international partners and migrant workers as part of a study on the economic impact of migration in Albania.

The study, implemented in partnership with the IOM office in Italy, examines the contribution of foreign workers to Albania's labour market and economy while gathering perspectives on labour demand, recruitment practices, working conditions, labour rights and access to services.

Sot, së bashku me Ministrinë për Evropën dhe Punët e Jashtme dhe Agjencinë Kombëtare të Diasporës, mblodhëm institucione, partnerë, përfaqësues të shoqërisë civile, akademisë, bashkive dhe diasporës për të përmbyllur një proces të përbashkët në mbështetje të hartimit të Strategjisë së re Kombëtare për Diasporën 2026-2030 dhe Planit të Veprimit 2026-2028.

E udhëhequr nga Qeveria shqiptare, strategjia e re përcakton drejtimin për një bashkëpunim më të strukturuar dhe më të qëndrueshëm me diasporën shqiptare, duke njohur kontributin e rëndësishëm nëpërmjet njohurive, aftësive, rrjeteve dhe përvojës së tyre në zhvillimin e Shqipërisë dhe rrugën drejt anëtarësimit në BE.

Përmes Fondit të Zhvillimit të IOM-it, IOM është krenare që ka mbështetur këtë proces dhe ka ndihmuar në krijimin e lidhjeve konkrete mes ekspertizës së diasporës dhe institucioneve shqiptare.

Today, together with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the National Diaspora Agency, we brought together institutions, partners, civil society, academia, municipalities and diaspora representatives to conclude a joint process supporting the development of the new National Strategy on Diaspora 2026-2030 and Action Plan 2026-2028.

Led by the Government of Albania, the new Strategy sets the direction for a more structured and sustainable engagement with the Albanian diaspora, recognizing the important contribution of its knowledge, skills, networks and experience, to Albania’s development and EU accession path.

Through the IOM Development Fund, IOM is proud to have supported this process and help create practical links between diaspora expertise and national institutions.

With the support of the UK Government - ,IOM organized the third and final round of training sessions on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for returned migrants.

Two regional trainings brought together in Tirana, representatives of the 61 Migration and Diaspora Structures established within municipalities across Albania, focusing on strengthening local capacities, supporting the implementation of the SOPs and enhancing coordination in support of returned migrants.
