¾ head using my lived-in technique, embracing her natural base while adding that pop of brightness around the face + dimension through the rest.

Then we cleaned out those mid-lengths + ends with a basin balayage and glossed everything together for that soft, fresh blonde finish❣️

Her blonde was feeling warm, flat and darker than she wanted, so I focused on bringing the brightness back while still keeping it soft, creamy and healthy.

She wanted to go blonder, but after doing her test strand I knew this wasn’t going to be a straightforward blonde appointment.

After a previous chemical reaction at another appointment, protecting the integrity of her hair was my priority.

I worked with O&M Keratin Pink + Clay Lightener, adjusting my developer from 10vol through to 20vol depending on the area I was working on, with K18 throughout.

Her ends were deliberately left out of my foils to avoid unnecessary overlap. Every section was teased, leaving intentional dimension to softly blend her natural greys while still giving her that brighter, poppy face frame.

Once each area had processed, I rinsed and carefully worked through the ends separately rather than pushing them through the entire lightening process.

Could I have pushed her blonder? Probably. But after what her hair had already been through, I wasn’t willing to compromise her hair just to get there in one appointment.

Brighter, dimensional, grey blended + healthy hair. 🤍
