If 22-year-old me — returning to the beauty industry after two babies, moving to a small town and completely rewriting my story — could sit down with 30-year-old me, I’d have SO much to tell her. 🤍
I’d tell her that making your own dreams happen is scary, but so much more fulfilling than building someone else’s.
I’d tell her that working for someone else can bring you money, but it doesn’t always bring you purpose.
I’d tell her that an employer can drain more than your energy — they can slowly drain your goals, your confidence and your vision, especially when their idea of your future only benefits their business.
I’d tell her that yes, you’re replaceable. But sometimes it’ll take three people to replace everything you were doing. Know your worth.
I’d tell her that not every woman is a “girl’s girl.” Some people will celebrate you only while your growth doesn’t threaten theirs.
And I’d tell her this one very important thing:
Your skills, your knowledge and your strategies are valuable.
Upskilling yourself, investing in yourself and working your ass off to become better is an investment in YOU.
Share your passion.
Share your love for the industry.
Support other women.
But don’t hand over every strategy you’ve worked years to build to people who aren’t pouring the same value back into you.
You don’t have to make yourself smaller so someone else’s business can grow.
Build your own.
Create your own opportunities.
Set your own standards.
Protect your ideas.
Invest in your education.
And most importantly…
Be your own boss.

✨ CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY — REINSTATED ✨
A little reminder that my cancellation & rescheduling policy is now being reinstated 🤍
Please respect the following timeframes when booking your appointment:
📅 RESCHEDULING:
Rescheduling is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice before your appointment.
❌ CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment are considered a late cancellation, and the applicable cancellation fee must be paid before another appointment can be booked.
⚠️ Appointments cancelled or changed outside of the required notice period may result in your deposit being forfeited and/or a cancellation fee being charged.
I completely understand that life happens and emergencies can occur — however, short-notice cancellations leave appointment times unable to be filled and directly impact my small business.
Thank you for respecting my time, my business and other clients waiting for appointments. 🖤
