When a breast lift and a ni**le procedure are both being considered, the first thing to settle is the order. At the clinic on Denham Street in Annerley, the consultation is where the sequence gets decided. A lift repositions the ni**le and ar**la as part of the procedure, so the starting point is what the lift itself already covers. From there, if a separate ni**le or ar**la procedure is being considered, Dr Konrat decides after examination whether it happens, and whether it comes before or alongside the lift. Inverted ni**les, for example, are treated first as a separate step to protect the blood supply of the ni**le and reduce infection risk. One thing worth knowing early: after a breast lift, some change in or loss of ni**le sensation is not unusual, and full sensation may take 9 to 12 months to return. That timeframe belongs in your planning, not as an afterthought. What would you want mapped out at a first consultation?

A question that comes up in consultations at our Annerley clinic: can ni**le surgery happen at the same time as a breast lift? It depends on which ni**le procedure is being discussed. A breast lift already repositions the ni**le and ar**la as part of the operation itself. But if someone has inverted ni**les and is also considering a lift, reduction or implants, the inverted ni**les are treated first, as a separate step. The reason is clinical, not administrative. Doing it in that order reduces the risk of infection and protects the blood supply of the ni**le, which matters for healing afterwards. Whether any ni**le or ar**la procedure is planned alongside a lift, and in what order, is decided by Dr Konrat after examination at consultation. If you were booking a consult, what would you want worked out first?

"What is a tummy tuck, exactly?" is one of the questions we get asked most often, usually before anyone's looked into recovery or candidacy.
In simple terms, abdominoplasty addresses excess skin and separated abdominal muscles, most often after pregnancy or significant weight change. It's a general surgical procedure with real recovery considerations, not a quick fix.

One of the most common questions we hear about liposuction is simple: am I actually a suitable candidate?
Candidacy depends on a few real factors, general health, skin elasticity, the specific area being considered, and realistic expectations about what the procedure can and can't do. It's not a one-size-fits-all answer, which is exactly why a proper consultation matters.
We've written a full explainer on the procedure, candidacy, and recovery: https://www.brisbanecosmetic.com.au/understanding-liposuction-procedure-candidacy-recovery/
