🌧️ Putting our new infrastructure to the test!
Benalla has certainly been put through its paces, with an enormous amount of rain falling recently, including over 50mm at the track.
And the results have been incredibly encouraging.
The new drains, particularly along the home straight, are working beautifully and helping keep the track in great shape despite the challenging conditions👏
It’s a fantastic result for our club and a really positive sign of the value of the investment that has gone into improving the track for our horses, participants and race days 🫶🏻

Racing Victoria CEO Aaron Morrison recently visited the Benalla Racing Club to inspect the track and receive an update on the club’s ongoing development works.
During his visit, Aaron also shared insights from Racing Victoria’s recent research, highlighting the significant economic and community contribution of regional race clubs across Victoria and the important role they continue to play in their local communities.
