IMPORTANT NOTICE – EARLY CLOSURE TOMORROW
Unfortunately, Refresh Day Spa will need to close at 5pm tomorrow due to multiple staff members being unwell with the flu.
We completely understand that cancelling an appointment can be disappointing, particularly when you’ve been looking forward to it. However, we need to be very clear about something that is having a significant impact on our team and our business.
If you are unwell, please do not attend your appointment.
Coming into the spa while sick doesn’t just put your therapist at risk. It can quickly spread through our team, resulting in staff being unable to work, appointments being cancelled, other clients missing out on their treatments, and—in circumstances like this—the spa having to close early altogether.
We will always do our best to accommodate clients who need to reschedule because they are genuinely unwell. We would much rather move your appointment than have illness spread throughout our workplace then into our homes.
To those whose appointments are affected tomorrow, we are genuinely sorry. Our team will be in contact with you directly to rearrange your booking as soon as possible.
Please help us protect our staff, their families, our clients and our ability to remain open.
If you’re sick, please stay home. Your appointment can be rescheduled. Our entire team getting sick cannot.

A heartfelt message to our valued clients
We need to share something important with you, and we hope you’ll take it to heart.
Right now we have a number of our incredible staff unwell - and sadly most of this has come as a direct result of clients attending their appointments while sick. We completely understand that life is busy, and that rescheduling can feel like an inconvenience, But the ripple effect of coming in when you’re under the weather is bigger than you might realise.
With several staff now home recovering, we’re finding it incredibly difficult to fulfil appointments for clients who are well and eagerly waiting to see us. People who have been looking forward to their visit - perhaps for weeks - are now missing out through no fault of their own, this breaks our hearts!
We love seeing you all, we truely do. But we love you enough to ask you to please stay home if you are:
• Experiencing a fever, cold, flu or any respiratory symptoms
• Feeling run down, nauseous or generally unwell
• Living with or caring for someone who is sick
If you’re not feeling your best, please reach out to us and we will do everything we can to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.
There will be no fees, no fuss - just kindness and understanding, because that’s what we would hope for in return.
