As it is now October 1st and my previous post about cash payments preferred did not seem to make much of a dent in cash vs card payments. I have had to make the difficult decision to adjust my pricing to accommodate these new laws surrounding card surcharges.

As a small business owner, I unfortunately cannot afford to absorb these costs on behalf of my customers. So I will be increasing my pricing slightly by $5 for each service. However, I will now be offering a $5 discount for any cash payments.

These changes will be in effect immediately with any new bookings. Exisiting bookings will be updated from 1 weeks time (all existing bookings for the next week will remain at the old pricing).

Also, Wednesday afternoon bookings will be available from next month.

Hi all, as you know businesses are no longer allowed to pass on the credit card surcharge to customers. This new law will only really hurt the small business owners and sole traders, as we cannot afford to absorb these costs.

So to avoid increasing my prices to cover these costs (which most small business will now have to do), I ask that you pay cash for your treatments wherever possible. I can also accept bank transfers/PayID if you’re like most people and rarely carry cash these days.

Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding with my need to focus on my health for a little while. I’m now on the mend and ready to return to work on Tuesdays and Fridays, limited numbers at this stage to gently ease back into it.
