We carry a lot without thinking about it.

This treatment focuses on the head, neck and jaw, working into those areas where tension tends to build up.

A little behind the scenes at Embody.

Before each client arrives, I take the time to get everything ready. The linen, the towels, the lighting and all the little details around the room.

I want you to walk in, feel comfortable and know that this time is just for you. Somewhere you can settle in, let go of the day for a while and feel taken care of.

For me, it’s not just about the treatment itself. It’s about the whole experience, and the care that goes into creating it.

That’s what I want you to feel when you come to Embody.

For those who saw my last post, I picked an affirmation card that really resonated with me.

I spend so much of my time helping clients with nervous system regulation through my treatments, yet I’m often guilty of rushing around, trying to fit everything in and forgetting to pause myself.

This morning, I remembered the message on that card when I noticed the tree Mum and I planted together. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing and the petals were falling everywhere. It was just beautiful.

So I stopped for a moment and took it all in. I took a few slow breaths and just stood there, without thinking about what I needed to do next.

And honestly, I felt calmer.

It reminded me that while nervous system regulation is a big part of the work I do with my clients, it’s something I need to make time for in my own life, too.

Sometimes we get so caught up in everything we have to do that we forget to notice the moments happening right in front of us.

Mum and I planting this tree together was one of those moments I didn’t fully appreciate at the time, but now it’s become such a precious memory. Every time it blossoms, I think of her. 🌸
