I KNOW why artists depot. I know it saves space, reduces weight and can make a huge kit significantly easier to transport.

But every time I’ve tried to become a ✨depotting girlie✨ I remember that I simply do not enjoy working that way.

I like original packaging. I like immediately knowing what I’m reaching for. I like being able to tell a client exactly what I used on them without cross-referencing a map of tiny beige squares.

And yes, apparently I’m willing to sacrifice my spine for it.

MUA friends: are you Team Depot Everything or Team Keep The Packaging? 👀 Because the only thing I’m depotting from now on is my lipsticks! I’ll break my back with my two cases and my hair kit (because we all know you can’t depot hair tools lmao)
