Last weekend was the Local Business Awards, and honestly, the whole night felt completely surreal.

Being named a finalist was an honour in itself, but what really hit me while sitting in that room was the reality of what brought me there: MY business. Something I built entirely from scratch, with my own two hands (and a never ending to do list).

Even more than that, it was looking around at this incredible community of women in business—people who are technically “competitors,” but are actually the very first to hype you up, support you, and celebrate your wins. Women who genuinely believe that someone else’s success isn’t their failure. Isn’t that just so fu***ng cool?

And to top it all off, ONE OF OUR OWN TOOK HOME A TROPHY!!!!!! 🥂🎉

Huge congratulations to the winners, and to every single person in that room who had the courage to back themselves, take the leap, and build a dream.
