Years ago, that would have felt like failure.
This time, it showed me just how much my “definition of success” had changed.
What’s yours?

Eight years in the industry and she still chose to learn something new. I love that.
It’s easy to get comfortable offering the same services, especially when you’ve already been doing this for years. But your clients are seeing new treatments online every day — and eventually, they’ll book with someone who offers them.
Jacinda made sure that when she returned from maternity leave, she wasn’t coming back exactly where she left off. She came back with Korean lash lifting added to her skill set and the confidence to offer it properly.
So proud of you, Jacinda.
If it’s time to add Korean lash lifting to your own menu, you can enrol online now at Lashprodigy.co

You can absolutely make money in beauty without covering your wall in certificates.
But there is a much harder question to answer:
How long can you build a profitable business around a service you were never properly taught to understand?
📎 Swipe through & save this for when you’re comparing courses.
Consider this your first warning…
BB 2.0 is coming, and we’ve been working on it for far too long to reveal everything at once.
For now, this is all you get. đź¤
The word “hustle” gets thrown around a lot… but for a new business owner, it does not mean running yourself into the ground forever.
It means accepting that the beginning will require more effort because you are building everything from zero.
It looks like:
• Practising your treatments until your results are consistently worth paying for.
• Creating content even when hardly anyone is watching yet.
• Replying to enquiries, following up and learning how to turn interest into bookings.
• Taking model clients, collecting photos and building genuine proof of your work.
• Reinvesting money into better education, products and the client experience instead of spending every dollar you make.
• Doing the cleaning, marketing, stock orders, admin and appointments yourself because there is no team yet.
• Showing up consistently when the diary is quiet instead of assuming the business “isn’t working.”
This stage is not glamorous. You may work more hours than you expected and receive less back in the beginning.
But the goal is not to hustle forever.
The goal is to use that early effort to build the skills, reputation, systems and demand that eventually give you more freedom.
You cannot expect an established-business lifestyle while you are still laying the foundations.
It’s been weeks since we turned 10… how did that happen so quickly?
But trust us—the best is still to come.
Lash Prodigy has some very exciting surprises lined up over the next few weeks, and you’ll want to keep a close eye on what’s coming.
STAY TUNED!
I genuinely cannot believe I’ve been in this industry for 20 YEARS.
Two decades of lashes, brows, beauty, business, teaching, mistakes, lessons, growth… and somehow, it still feels like I’m only getting started.
Standing on stage talking about an industry that has shaped such a huge part of my life was one of those moments where I thought…
How did I get here?
20 years ago, I had no idea where any of this would take me. I definitely didn’t imagine I’d one day be standing on stages, educating other artists and sharing everything those years taught me.
And the best part?
I’m still learning.
I’m still evolving.
I’m still just as obsessed with this industry as I was when I started.
20 years in beauty. And I wouldn’t change a single chapter. 🤍

This is exactly why we are so over the top when it comes to lash cleaning.
If you’re coming in for lashes every 2–4 weeks, proper cleansing between appointments isn’t optional. It’s a huge part of protecting your natural lash health and keeping the lash line clean between services. When you look at it that way, a $25–$35 lash cleanser is absolutely priceless.
And if you’re an educator, this should be one of the number one principles you teach from day one. We’re not just teaching students how to apply beautiful lashes—we’re teaching them how to perform a service responsibly, educate their clients properly, and prioritise natural lash health above everything else.
