I’m very sore today — but I hit 100km of my 112km goal.
Onpaper, 3.8km a day would have made this easy. But life doesn’t work like that.
This month has been... a lot. My daughter’s dad being unwell, my dad visiting and sharing such beautiful moments, nursing placement, uni exams, Book Week, Clint Ferguson kid’s 21st, a pool build, running 2 salons, trying to mum, trying to be a good friend, trying to build new friendships, and trying to find my way back to the things I truly love.
And through all of that, running 112km for everyone I know who has had, or been affected by, cancer has been a battle.
My knees are inflamed, my nerves hurt. My lungs though? They’re great — thank you, cardio.
