In Perth, I volunteered with a charity providing free haircuts to people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

At the time, I was moving through a really deep season of hurt in my own life… and somehow, giving back became one of the most healing things I could have done 💫

It was never just about the hair.

It was the conversations, the stories, the trust, the human connection, and the reminder that every person simply wants to feel seen, cared for, and valued.

Some of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met, cut hair & created connections along side me and others sat in those chairs 🤍

Creating connection and community has always meant so much more to me than “just doing hair” — and I think that’s something I’ll carry with me forever ✨
