Surrounded by the National Gallery, Nelson’s Column and its bronze lions, Trafalgar Square is London’s civic heart. After dark, its twin fountains shine with renewed presence thanks to a Lumascape lighting upgrade for the City of Westminster.

56 Woda Brass WB3 RGBW luminaires replace the original fixtures point for point, lifting output to 1,530 lumens and delivering vivid color alongside even white light that flatters every plume and sculptural detail.

Using PowerSync LV, the new system was able to reuse the existing ducts, bringing dynamic color and advanced control to the heritage listed fountains without the need for significant or destructive works.

We are pleased to welcome Darin Ayres as our new 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Darin brings more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience across specification sales, marketing, and channel development, with a strong background in building high performing teams, strengthening channel partnerships, and aligning sales, marketing, and product around shared growth objectives.

In his new role, Darin will lead Lumascape’s global sales and marketing teams and help drive the company’s next phase of growth by strengthening our market presence, deepening relationships with customers and partners, and creating greater alignment across our global commercial organization.

Darin is also looking forward to spending time with our teams, customers, partners, and specification community around the world, listening, learning, and building on the strong relationships that have helped shape Lumascape.

Lighting art with purpose

At Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, Corous by Cliff Garten Studio sits between the Women’s and Children’s Center and the Heart and Vascular Center, creating a visual connection between these two important areas of the campus.

After dark, eight Lumascape Erden E4 inground luminaires illuminate the stainless steel sculpture from below, revealing its form and adding another dimension to the artwork while allowing the luminaires themselves to disappear from view.

A great example of how thoughtfully integrated lighting can complement public art and enhance its presence after sunset.

River of Lights powered by PowerSync

At Central Park in Santa Clarita, more than 200 Lumascape Erden E4 and E6 direct view inground luminaires transform the plaza into a dynamic ribbon of light, creating an engaging public space that comes alive after sunset.

Developed in collaboration with Visual Terrain, the installation features Lumascape's PowerSync® technology, combining power and digital control in a single four-core cable. The simplified infrastructure supports individual fixture control, making complex lighting effects easier to install, manage, and maintain.

The result is an immersive lighting experience that celebrates creativity while bringing the community together through light.

One of Bologna's most historic and architecturally significant squares now shines in a new light. Lumascape's precision-engineered luminaires enhance the Basilica of San Domenico, the Arche dei Glossatori, and the statue of Saint Dominic, revealing their rich architectural details while respecting the site's historic character.
