From tomorrow, new legislation means businesses can no longer pass EFTPOS surcharges on to customers, so those card processing fees now sit back with us.

We are not complaining, as you know we only passed on the surcharge over a year ago. We are however, just putting some options out there ….

We’ve decided NOT to increase our prices to cover the difference. It’s not fair to you and it also only gives the banks even more money! While banks are expected to reduce their processing fees, the reduction we’ve been offered is incredibly small — just 0.001%.

If you’re able to pay by PayID, bank transfer or cash when you visit us, it really does make a difference to our little business. ❤️ But if paying by card is easier for you, please don’t feel any pressure at all — that’s absolutely fine too!

We’re simply sharing this so our beautiful Cocoa Lux village knows what’s changing and, where possible, can help us keep those extra costs down. We’re so grateful for your continued support. 🫶🏼

In some cases, Desiree will be coming in on additional days or extending her hours to accommodate appointments. 💕

We would really appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows can mean Desiree has made the extra effort to come in, only to have that appointment go unfilled.
