Not all lips heal like this, everyone retains pigment differently depending on your skin, body & lifestyle. A lip blush usually fades by 40-50% when healed x

DAY 1
Fresh off the needle 👄 lips will look super bright, bold & swollen (completely normal). The colour will settle once the swelling goes down, so trust the process. Keep them clean, hydrated & don’t panic at the intensity right now.

DAY 2
Swelling usually starts calming down & the colour can still look very strong/dark. Lips might feel a little tight or dry but this is all part of the healing stage. Your neutralisation is starting to settle into the skin.

DAY 3
This is usually when the dryness kicks in 😭 your lips can start flaking/cracking slightly & the colour may look uneven in some spots. Don’t pick at anything, let the skin do its thing naturally & moisturise!!

DAY 4
Most of the peeling is happening around now. The lips can start looking lighter, patchy or like the pigment disappeared in areas but this is NORMAL. The healed colour is still developing underneath.

DAY 5
The major peeling stage is usually nearly done🫶🏽 lips start softening up again & the colour slowly comes back through more evenly over the next couple weeks.

Multiple sessions are almost always needed to achieve the best results, especially for darker or cooler toned lips. Each session builds on the last for a softer, brighter and more even final result🤍
