Kyra is one of six siblings... so add partners, kids, parents, bridesmaids and a whole lot of personality into one big Airbnb in Mudjimba and you can imagine the vibe. 😂
There was laughter, nails getting done, people everywhere and absolute mayhem in the best possible way.

Can I share something I've noticed after 22 years in the wedding industry? ✨
Beautiful hair and makeup doesn't start on the wedding morning.
It starts months before.
It's answering the questions brides don't even know they need to ask.
It's helping with timelines.
It's sharing little tips that stop unnecessary stress on the day.
It's checking in the day before to make sure everything is on track.
It's arriving early so you're completely set up before your first appointment.
Over the years I've realised that our job isn't just creating beautiful hair and makeup.
It's helping brides feel so prepared that they can simply enjoy one of the biggest mornings of their lives.
When a bride doesn't have to worry about what's happening next, she gets to be present with her favourite people.
And that's exactly how wedding mornings should feel. ✨

There was something really special about this wedding morning. ✨
Kirra and her girls had travelled from different corners of Australia to be together on the Sunshine Coast.
The brief?
"We just want to look like elevated versions of ourselves."
Music playing.
Friends reunited.
A few happy tears.
Lots of laughs.

For beach weddings like Sunshine Beach, I reached for one of my favourite Aussie brands, It's sweatproof, formulated in Korea, full coverage, vegan cruelty free and holds up beautifully in the Queensland heat, yet it never feels or looks heavy on the skin. Exactly what Kirra and her girls were after. For the mature beauties I always going for prolongwear for that dewy youthfulness.
