Hot mess
I am well into the hormone treatment phase of this breast cancer journey. It has been about 15 months since I started Tamoxifen, and my thermostat is officially broken. The hot sweats are relentless. 12 month oncology appointment
I saw my oncologist this week. My appointments continue three monthly. This means that regardless of how well I have been travelling, I get a reminder that I am still a cancer patient and the risk of recurrence will always be there. Given the surgery I chose, there are no follow up scans or tests I can have to ease my mind....

A bit proud of me. 1st of May 2026 vs 1st of May 2025. Today I finished the Great Ocean Road Walk. I admit I had to take a day off in the middle but I walked 82km of the 104km track. 💪
