Many of you know my dear friend Sam who came past every day for a chat, a hug or to share stories with us. Sam and Tina moved into a new home last week. I will miss him dearly but I’m happy for this new chapter in their lives. On a happier note Sam turns 96 today🎉 Sam’s son Kon will show him this post so please wish him a happy birthday

Dear clients,

I’d just like to ask a favour. If you have an appointment and find that you’re unable to make it, could you please give the salon a call and let me know as soon as you can.

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had at least one no-show almost every day. I completely understand that things can come up unexpectedly, but as a sole trader, missed appointments have a big impact on my business and mean that appointment times that could have been offered to someone else are left empty.

I also don’t send reminders to every client, so please make a note of your appointment and keep it in your calendar. I’d hate for anyone to miss their appointment simply because they forgot.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way — I truly appreciate every one of my clients and your ongoing support. ❤️ I just wanted to remind everyone how important it is to let me know if you can’t make it.

Another transformation from 50 shades of Nicola. Everytime this lovely lady comes in I know we’re going to do something fun. This time was alternating foils of blonde, violet and purple. I look forward to seeing what we’ll be doing next time 💜

This gorgeous client had to leave before I could style her hair but I decided the colours were too fun and pretty not to share. I did 4cm square sections alternated all over with each row starting with a different colour. Hopefully I get to do this colour again and next time I get to style it so you can see the full affect.
