Part 2 - When you travel overseas as a makeup artist you want to pack light, keeping in mind travel weight limits, liquid limits and packaging that makes getting through security a breeze.

See how I packed my kit for a Fiji Wedding.

A multi purpose palette!! Mostly used as a blush, bronzer and highlighter for brides on their wedding day but today I’m after the perfect luminous pink flush of eye shadow and what better palette than the Backstage Glow Palette in 001 Universal Glow.

If you’re a bride planning a destination wedding OR a makeup artist dreaming of taking your kit around the world, the first thing you need is a carry-on that actually works for you!

For my first international wedding, I’m taking my Juliette July Tote as my personal carry-on and I love how practical it is for travelling.

Here’s what I love about it:
Front button pocket - perfect for things I want quick access to, like antibacterial wipes and other travel essentials.

Zipped back pocket - this is where I’m keeping my passport, pen, tickets and other important travel documents.

Luggage sleeve - slips straight over the handle of your suitcase so you can easily stack your tote on top of your carry-on luggage.

Inside pocket + zip - extra organisation without everything disappearing into the bottom of the bag!

Detachable drink bottle holder - I’ve taken mine off for this trip to save a little space, but it would be such a handy addition if you were using the tote every day.

The goal for this trip? Keep everything organised, accessible and carry-on friendly.
