I am starting to make my soaps for Christmas. But I will only be making soaps to order, so if you are wanting any soaps, you will need to have your order in by the end of this month (September). I will only have a few random soaps for Christmas, so if you don't get your order in, then I will not be able to make them in time.
Here we have this year's new Christmas Gingerbread Kids soap. These will slightly darken over the next 4 weeks as the vanillin in the vanilla is 4% (which is high), and will darken the base colour, but I am not unhappy with that.

Trying out a new mould. I love the detail. Of course I couldn't wait to unmould, so these will need some slight touch-ups, but gosh for the horse lovers, these are super cute.
I have made 2 of each 'head' and there are 4 of the 'prancing' horse.

Another batch of my Shampoo and Conditioner bars, packed and ready for sale (and an order). This time I made more as this fragrance is flying off the shelf. I will have to order more ingredients soon, so make sure you let me know in advance so I can plan ahead and not have to make anyone wait more than a couple of days.

A quick restock and order for my super conditioning and all Natural Lip Balm. The thing about my Lip Balm, is that is it super conditioning while being non greasy. With only natural ingredients, it is a hit with all generations.

Here we have an order for my Extra Scrubby Mechanic/Gardener Soap. Made with super conditioning oils and butters to counter the abrasiveness of the Pumice and Ground Walnut Shells added to this soap. It will give a great cleansing of all oils and ground in dirt. I also make a 'Standard' version of this soap, where there is less of the Pumice and Ground Walnut shells. I will be making a second lot of this soap to a restock, but that will be next week.

Need a little bit more love, softness, and conditioning to your soap, well here is my Sensitive Skin soap. It is great to use as a facial bar or for all over. While I make no claims, this soap has been designed for those who have extra sensitive skin and require some gentle cleansing, and deep conditioning. This soap will be ready in 4 weeks. Off to the drying rack for now.

Ah Activated Charcoal...so good for as a facial bar. Excellent for problem skin such as acne, as it opens up the pores, cleans them out without over drying, helps reduce redness and evens out skin tone all while promoting healthier, clearer looking skin within a short few days. The only thing that people worry about is the greyish lather you get, but it is soap, so once you apply it and lather it up, then rinse it off, it will not stain your skin. For me, I wet the bar, and my hands, lather the soap up, then put the soap bar down and continue lathering up my hands, the more I lather, the whiter the lather becomes. Everyone who has tried my Activated Charcoal soap has raved about it, so don't be put off because of its colour, you will love the results.

First batch of soaps made since closing the shop... and my how much a difference in set up time being in a warmer, constant temperature does in soap making. At my shop, it wasn't until the very height of summer that I would be able to make soap in 20°C - 22°C. Usually it would be around 10°C - 15°C, but now I am having to soap a lot faster as my batter moves very quickly. Here we have some restock of Sandalwood soap for my Natural/Botanical range, and some Activated Charcoal - both of which totally sold out in the last days at the shop. But in 4 weeks time, these will be ready for sale. I also need to restock my Sensitive Skin soap, but I need to find the moulds first....lo

This is the first time since closing the shop that I have made any products. This is for an order, some of my Shampoo and Conditioner Bars. I am amazed it has taken this long, but I needed to take a break for a little bit and then try and get my house and workroom into some sort of order. Then it took about 2 hours to find all my ingredients, but finally I was able to actually get started and boy, did I actually enjoy the feeling of making my wonderful products again. Now I do still need to sort out half my workroom, but at least I have a small space to start making again.
