These are some of the amazing points of knowledge I took away from the Thrive Through Change event on peri-menopause and menopause 🫶🏽🙌🏽

A huge takeaway for me was that so much of our hair health and overall wellbeing during this stage of life comes back to supporting ourselves from the inside out.

Focus areas include:

* Nourishing your body with a balanced diet and supporting gut health
* Prioritising strength training and regular movement
* Choosing the right supplements for your individual needs
* Looking after your skin and changing skincare as your body changes
* Finding a GP/health professional who listens and supports your hormonal health
* Managing stress, prioritising sleep and making wellness a daily practice

It really is about getting back to the basics — taking care of your mind, body and soul. What happens internally can have a huge impact on what we see externally, including our hair, skin and nails 🙌🏽

I’m so excited to share these little nuggets of knowledge with you all as I continue learning more on this journey!

The brief was a bright beach blonde, soft pops of my natural colour peeking through with a root stretch and add 24 inches of tape weft extensions while we’re at it 🙈😍

Pretty sure we nailed the brief for my favourite Brisbane muse 💅🏽

It’s giving ICONIC 90s model 😱❤️‍🔥

Had to post my stunning girl and her absolutely glossy hazelnut caramel hair 🙊 Would you believe this is all her natural colour? I just added some soft popping brunette highlights through the front to frame her face and bring a little pop 😍

Want this kind of volume and movement? Girls, this look was created using tape weft extensions. Cinti has naturally fine hair but you honestly would never know😍🫶🏽

Autumn hazelnut caramel hair 🍂🤎 (but guess what… we didn’t colour her hair to get this lightness we added extensions 🙈)

I’ve officially banned Mikayla from lightener for a while so we can focus on getting her hair back to its healthiest state ✨

Instead, I used Keune 2000 to gently lift while keeping the integrity of her hair strong and shiny, then followed through with a seamless colour melt… and WOW 😍

Honestly I’m obsessed with all the rich, dimensional autumn colours we’ve been creating lately 🍂🤎

Also how lucky am I have to such stunning clients eek 🙌🏽🔥
