Celebrating culture, community and connection. This NAIDOC Week, we are proud to support inclusive care and acknowledge the communities we serve.
We also acknowledge the artwork created by Christine Slabb (Bundjalung/ Yugambeah Artist), thoughtfully designed for our clinics. It reflects people coming together, with circles symbolising community, shared spaces, and our commitment to empathy, education, teamwork and care.

While winter can increase joint stiffness, avoiding activity completely isn’t the answer.
It’s important to keep your joints warm and active, continue to strengthen your muscles, and manage any flare-ups appropriately.
If you struggle throughout cold weather, a physio may be able to help.

It feels like the last school holidays were just yesterday, but they're here again!
This is our reminder to drive safely on the roads if you’re going away, and stop for regular breaks to have a stretch.
Your back will thank you!

We all know it’s important to get up and exercise consistently, but getting up in the morning can seem impossible when your bed is so cosy.
But did you know, using heat therapy (like a hot water bottle) can help! Not only does it help with the first hurdle of getting out of your comfy bed, but it can also help to ease stiffness in muscles and joints.
Some simple winter strategies include:
- Taking a warm shower before activity
- Using a heat pack on stiff joints before exercise
- Wearing layered clothing to keep joints warm
- Gradually warming up before longer walks or activity

It’s Migraine Awareness Month, and this often debilitating condition affects approximately 4.9 million Australians^.
For people living with migraine, the impacts can vary from person to person. There are a variety of treatment options available. Physiotherapy can be a useful management option for some people with migraine.
Everyone experiences migraine differently. A physiotherapist will listen, assess and work collaboratively with you to structure an individualised management plan. This may include detailed advice and education related to your migraine, hands on treatment and exercise therapy.
Understanding migraines and recognising what aggravates and relieves them can be an important step toward managing this condition.
If you suffer from migraine, our friendly team may be able to assist.
