Introducing Awara Skin 🤎

A special moment seeing this vision come to life. Having my Mum & Aunty beside me for this campaign made this moment even more meaningful.

Filmed in the beautiful Litchfield National Park to celebrate the beauty of my home, growing up in the Territory, and the connection to Country that inspired Awara.

Thank you to my amazing team

Welcome 🤍 I’m Chiarah — a proud Yanyuwa and Yawuru woman, with family connections spanning the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Ever since I was young, I’ve dreamed of creating something of my own — something meaningful that blends my love for family, culture, and helping others.

Awara Skin was born during a deeply personal time in my life. In the final days of my Pops life, I reflected on his resilience, and the life he built despite everything he went through, including being taken from his family as part of the Stolen Generation. That moment shifted something in me — it made me realise I wanted to create something meaningful, something that honours the strength of my people.

I was also raised closely connected to nature through my other grandfather, Papa. As a child, we would walk together his garden as he named plants and animals, sharing knowledge so naturally. We still do that to this day. Those moments stayed with me, and are a big part of why I’m so drawn to native Australian ingredients today.

Awara has been years in the making, with every detail created with intention and care. It is a reflection of my journey — shaped by my family, my culture, and the values I was raised with. It’s in honour of my whole family — past, present, and future. A way to create something beautiful in the world, and be a role model for my younger siblings.

For me, skincare is more than just a routine. It’s self-love, it’s connection, it’s slowing down and appreciating your natural beauty. It’s not about perfection — it’s about feeling confident and proud in your own skin.

Through Awara, I hope to honour my culture, share our stories, and create something that empowers others.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. This is just the beginning. Xx
