Unpopular opinion: purple shampoo isn’t the blonde saviour everyone thinks it is.
She has her place, don’t get me wrong… but she is not here to fix dryness, dullness, toner fade, mineral build-up, old colour, heat damage, or hair that’s been emotionally abandoned for 12 weeks.
Used properly? Helpful.
Overused? Flat, dull, grabby, ashy little chaos.
Your blonde doesn’t always need more purple.
Sometimes she needs moisture, bond support, heat protection, a gloss refresh, or a proper maintenance appointment.
Healthy hair first. Purple shampoo second. Always!
