🌹 A LITTLE ROSE MAGIC IN OUR HONEY JAR! 🍯🐝

Last Saturday, fresh rose petals arrived all the way from Toowoomba! ❤️

By now, many of you know how much I love using fresh ingredients to create our infused honey. I believe the beauty of homemade products lies in the quality of the ingredients and the care we put into making them.

We don't have a rose garden of our own, and I'm very particular about where I source my roses. I don't feel comfortable using shop bought roses or dried rose petals bought online when I cannot be sure of their growing and treatment history.

Thankfully, our lovely neighbours' son lives in Toowoomba, where his family has a beautiful rose garden. Every year, whenever they visit, I request a little favour: if possible, could they please bring me some fresh rose petals? 🌹

And once again, they kindly did!
A heartfelt thank you to our neighbours and their family for sharing their beautiful, chemical-free rose petals with us and helping make our special creations possible. ❤️

With these beautiful, carefully sourced rose petals, I've made a very small batch of rose-infused honey. The flavour is delicate, gentle and subtle, with a beautiful touch of rose.

🌹 Will it be ready for Christmas? 🎄🍯

Honestly, I'm not sure yet! Rose petals take time to infuse beautifully into honey, and I don't want to rush the process. I believe good things are worth waiting for, and I want to give this delicate rose-infused honey the time it deserves.

So, let's wait and see! 🤞❤️ If it's ready in time for Christmas, it might become another special little treasure for your festive season. But one thing is certain — I won't rush nature just to meet a deadline! 🌹🐝

🐝🍯 A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came to visit us today, from near and far! We are so grateful that you came to experience and take home our liquid gold — the result of our bees’ incredible hard work. 🐝🍯 And above all, thank you for your continued love and support for our small business.

I am absolutely delighted to see how warmly you have welcomed my NEW HOMEMADE INDIAN CURRY SPICE! ❤️
I made only a very small batch to begin with, and there are not many jars left! Don't worry, I will be making more very soon.
I would LOVE to hear your honest feedback. Your feedback means a lot to me, and it will help me make any little improvements for the next batch. After all, I want you to enjoy it just as much as I enjoy making it for you! 🥰

🍛 So, who's cooking what tonight?

I am planning to make an egg curry with chickpeas, soya chunks and LOADS of different vegetables for our dinner tonight. 😋

I can't wait to hear what you're cooking! Are you making a curry, adding it to a vegetable dish, or trying something completely different? Please share your creations and let us know how you use it!

A little tip for first-time users: This spice blend is quite concentrated, so start with a small amount and gradually adjust it to suit your own taste buds.

Once again, THANK YOU for visiting us, supporting our business and making today so special. Every visit, every purchase and every kind word means more to us than you know. ❤️🐝

See you all tomorrow, Saturday, 10th of October between 10am and 1pm at 22 Schmidt Road, Eagleby.

🌿 We have carefully selected the whole spices, roasted them, ground and blended with love and care.

🌶️ It's a mild curry spice, not super hot, making it a lovely starting point for your curry adventures. Of course, everyone's taste buds are different, so feel free to adjust the heat to suit your family!

🐝🍯 Just a little reassurance - despite the card surcharge changes, our prices are staying the same for now, so there’s no extra cost for you. ❤️

Behind every jar of honey, there is so much more than what meets the eye. Because of Varroa, beekeepers are now facing an enormous amount of extra work and pressure. Keeping our bees alive and healthy has become incredibly time-consuming and challenging. Every beekeeper understands just how much time, care and effort it takes.

On top of that, electricity bills are rising, fuel costs are increasing, and the cost of living keeps going up. We are running a small business, but we are also feeling the same financial pressures as everyone else.

Yet, despite all these challenges, we are choosing to keep going. We still have hope, passion and faith in what we do. Most importantly, we have faith in the wonderful customers who continue to support our little business. ❤️

That's why, for now, we’ve decided not to increase our prices to cover card payment fees. Instead, we’re choosing to absorb those costs ourselves.

We know how convenient it is to tap your card or phone, and we’re always happy to accept card payments. But if you’re able to pay with cash, it would mean a little more to our small business than you might realise. 🥰

For a small business, every single cent counts. What may seem like a small percentage on one transaction can add up over a busy market day - and those little costs really do make a difference to us.

So, if you have cash with you and you're happy to use it, choosing cash helps us keep a little more of what you spend with us. ❤️

But please don't feel uncomfortable if you don't have cash - we are still very happy to accept your card, please keep tapping! Your support means the most to us, whichever way you choose to pay. This is simply a small request from a small business trying its best to keep moving forward without increasing prices 🐝🍯 We hope you'll understand our situation and continue to stand beside us, just as we continue to put our hearts into what we do.

Every purchase matters. Every cent matters. And every customer matters to us. 💛❤️🐝🍯
