3 sisters who came in for repairs and pretty new outfits....
A little 'carnival type' doll who's dress was very soiled, after alot of soaking and some repairs, i discovered the grey lace trim was actually a pale blue, she also needed her arms and wig reattached.
Dolly 2, a 16" Pedigree needed restringing, a clean and wig tidy and a pretty floral dress and knickers.
Dolly 3 a beautiful dark 22" pedigree walker needed her head and arms reattached and got a tartan outfit that looked so bright and fresh on her....

Hello Gerry....were you having a bad day.
He was in need of a good clean, his clothes got a good soak and some repairs, then fixed the cracks and remoulded his missing ear. Touched up his paintwork and replaced the leather above his chin. After carefully grooming his hair it was time to put him back together and send him home...
Thanks for coming to visit me Gerry....πŸ’œ

Oh Poppets, what a day....
This morning I decided to take the plunge into the 21st century and get on my laptop and create a hopefully more organised file of all my patients past and present.
As someone who works predominantly in the realm of creative chaos, it was, as you can imagine a herculanian task.
Its got to be at least 28 years since i did my art studies that included a very outdated business component so my skills are mot exactly up to date.
Anyway into the Excel dimension I dove....eeeep !!
10 hrs later i emerged, 92 entries completed....with quite a few 'wee swearies' still hovering in the air above me.....
My poor brain addled and wondering why did I start this πŸ₯Ί
Only another 260ish entries to go πŸ€―πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ₯Ί
I know it will be worth it in the long run, but right now 'my brain hurts'

This dear little dolly needed a lot of work with lots of crazing and lifted paint...her face in particular was in a very distressed state....I was able to work on her body and limbs with patching, sanding and repainting.
Her head needed most of the old paint removed, and some splits repaired. Much sanding and smoothing followed by repainting and sealing and she was looking way better...a little slip of a dress because I dont like sending them home naked.
And off home she went to a happy mum.
(*please note, none of this work was done without constant communication with, and directions from the owners. )

Two little dark skinned compo babies came in separately for repairs and makeovers...and had fun hanging out together....
Topsy needed her head put back together and I touched up some worn paint and freshened up her features. She headed home this morning 🏑
Baby #2 was quite a bit more work, requiring removal of all his old paint, except the section on his back where his original mum had written her name and the date 1937....
So after much careful removal, sanding, sealing and repainting, he too is ready to go home as well.
