Tech neck will be one of the biggest ageing accelerators of our generation. 🤯

We’re the first generation to spend six hours a day looking down at a screen, and our faces are quietly keeping score. The muscle where it shows first is the SCM, the long band running from behind your ear to your collarbone.

Every time you look down, it shortens and tightens. Over thousands of repetitions, it pulls on the jawline and neck, and it’s showing up on faces a decade younger than it should.

Here’s what most reels won’t tell you: the definition everyone chases in the lower face actually begins below the jaw.

The serums can’t reach this.

It’s muscular work, and it responds beautifully to skilled, knowledgeable hands.

Buccal and advanced facial massage release exactly the tension that screens create, working the SCM and the deep facial muscles properly and safely. And one free thing you can do tonight: raise your screen to eye level.

This is why this work matters more now than ever. It’s maintenance for a problem that didn’t exist twenty years ago.

Save this, and remember to raise your screen đź©·

This message from Jade means a great deal to me, because she didn’t come to my training as a beginner.

She was already qualified in structural and buccal massage. She simply wanted to go deeper.

That’s exactly who this training is for.

If you’ve built a solid foundation but you know there’s a more advanced level waiting, if you want to feel completely confident delivering buccal and sculptural work at the highest standard, this is where that happens.

Jade left feeling she’d learned exactly what she hoped to, and ready to offer this treatment at a much higher level. She’d even do it again.

The next Advanced Sculptural Lifting and Buccal Massage training is 21 and 22 September in Melbourne, and one place remains.

The question I’m asked most by other therapists: “How did you get clients travelling across Melbourne for one treatment?”

The answer is the treatment itself.

On 21 and 22 September, I’m teaching my complete Advanced Sculptural Lifting and Buccal Massage protocol in Melbourne.

Two days, fully hands-on, in a small group where my eyes are on your hands the entire time.

You’ll learn the techniques I’ve gathered from training across the world and you’ll leave with my signature protocol, your Certificate of Completion, and the confidence to deliver it beautifully from your very first booking.

Only limited group training days remain for 2026.

The Gua Sha in your bathroom drawer is capable of more than you think.

Used well, a few quiet minutes in the evening supports lymphatic drainage, softens the tension you hold in your jaw and brow, and keeps the lifted feeling from your treatments going between visits.

The four things that matter most: prepped skin, light pressure, outward direction, and gentle consistency.

Everything else is refinement.

Save this for your evening routine, and at your next appointment I’ll show you the exact pressure and pathways for your face.

Your hands are your craft. Who’s caring for them?

The treatments that build your reputation ask the most of your body. The therapists who last aren’t the ones who push through, they’re the ones who care for the instrument.

You release tension in the muscle every day. Your hands are muscle too, and they hold the same load.

Warm the tissue, release the forearms, and book in for your own treatment.

Rest is part of the work, not a reward for finishing it.

Look after yourself the way you look after your clients 🫶🏻
