SMP isn't permanent, but it is long-lasting.

Most clients can expect their results to look great for around 2–5 years before they'll start to notice some gradual fading. At that point, a simple touch-up session can refresh the look and keep everything sharp and natural.

That said, SMP doesn't suddenly disappear after 5 years. Many clients are happy to leave it much longer—sometimes 5–10 years or more—before considering a touch-up.

How long it lasts depends on factors like skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle, and how closely you maintain it.
