Your past can explain your behavior, but it does not have to control your future.
You can carry pain without passing it on to everyone around you.
You can be hurt and still choose kindness.
You can come from chaos and build peace.
At some point, you have to stop using what happened to you as permission to become someone you do not respect.
You cannot rewrite your childhood.
But you can decide what kind of person comes next.
Break the cycle.

Life is hard. God is good. Let's dance. That is the whole book. That is also the hardest thing you will ever believe.
Brant Hansen's Life Is Hard. God Is Good. Let's Dance. is not a book of easy answers. It is not a book that pretends the world is not broken. It is a book that looks squarely at the anxiety, the depression, the anger, the chaos, and then says: but God is good. And because God is good, we can dance.
Hansen is not a typical Christian author. He is a radio host with a quirky sense of humor and a deep, unshakable faith. He does not follow a success plan. He just keeps showing up and taking Jesus seriously. And by taking Jesus seriously, he has become more joyful, more peaceful, and more full of laughter. That attitude is contagious. And it is the heart of this book.
The book is a collection of short, energetic, captivating essays. Hansen shares stories from around the world, from his travels, from his own life, from the people he has met. He writes with warmth and humor. He writes with honesty about his own struggles. He writes with a childlike faith that is not naive but hard-won.
What makes this book so valuable is its simplicity. Hansen does not offer a complicated theology. He does not offer a five-step plan for joy. He offers a mindset. He offers a way of seeing the world. He offers a reminder that joy is not the absence of pain. It is the presence of God in the midst of pain.
I read this book as someone who has struggled with anxiety and depression. I read it as someone who has often wondered how to hold joy and grief at the same time. This book did not solve my problems. It did not make the hard things disappear. But it gave me something I needed: permission to dance anyway.
Five Lessons from Life Is Hard. God Is Good. Let's Dance:
1. Joy is not the absence of pain. It is the presence of God in the midst of pain. Hansen writes that joy is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about trusting that God is good even when life is hard. That trust is the foundation of joy.
2. You do not need a success plan. You need to show up. Hansen writes that he does not follow a formula. He just keeps showing up and taking Jesus seriously. That is the secret. Not perfection. Not achievement. Just faithfulness.
3. A childlike faith is not a childish faith. Hansen writes that we are called to see the world in a childlike, humble, and optimistic way. That is not naive. It is wise. It is the kind of faith that can hold both the hardness of life and the goodness of God.
4. Laughter is a form of worship. Hansen writes that joy is contagious. Laughter is a form of worship. When we laugh, we are declaring that the darkness does not have the final word. That is a radical act.
5. You can dance in a world gone mad. This is the title of the book. It is also the thesis. The world is mad. Life is hard. But God is good. And because God is good, we can dance. Not despite the chaos. In the middle of it.
Read this if you need joy. Read this if you are tired of the anxiety and the anger. Read this if you want to believe that God is good even when life is hard. Brant Hansen has written a book that is both a comfort and a challenge, a reminder that joy is possible, that laughter is holy, and that dancing is an act of faith.

HIGH CONTRAST PLACEMENT PLEATING by
PLACEMENT in color is just as important as placement in extensions for fullness and length. Obsessed with the outcome of this. I used about 45 I tips total to add a angle to Rhonda’s bob. She loves having more hair and feeling it on her shoulders. Extensions don’t just have to be long or blonde. Anyone can wear them. Her hair looked amazing before but after with the length makes her even happier. That’s what it’s all about!
