Tracks For Care would like to thank Janelle and the team at Central Victorian Hand Therapy for getting behind our campaign supporting the Bendigo Health Foundation and the Neurology Department at Bendigo Health.

Established in 2006, Central Victorian Hand Therapy was created to provide a high level of specialised hand therapy care and expertise for people across regional Victoria. Working alongside leading specialists in both Bendigo and Melbourne, their experienced team delivers modern therapies, exercises and treatment programs tailored to each individual patient.

Located at 114 Condon Street, Kennington, Central Victorian Hand Therapy assists patients with finger, hand, wrist, elbow and upper limb rehabilitation, helping people recover from injury, surgery and chronic conditions so they can return to everyday life with confidence.

Their caring and qualified practitioners provide treatment for a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, work-related injuries, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, thumb pain, wrist and elbow pain, children’s hand injuries and many other upper limb conditions.

The team also has extensive experience in custom orthoses including splints, braces and waterproof casts, along with pre and post operative rehabilitation support.

Like many great local healthcare providers, Central Victorian Hand Therapy understands the importance of community support and helping improve quality of life for people across our region.

This initiative also reflects on Bendigo’s 122-year-old tram tracks, recognising the region’s long history of connection, care and community spirit that continues today through projects like Tracks for Care.

This week hosted two meetings with Mr Peter Maloney, expert hand surgeon for Hand Therapy Week. Monday night saw therapists from across the region gather for a session on thumb and wrist injuries and Tuesday the local GPs attended for a breakfast and update on thumb injuries. With thanks to for providing amazing food platters and for our hand themed sweet treats this week!

At Central Victorian Hand Therapy, all our practitioners are Accredited Hand Therapists. This means they have undergone rigorous training to achieve this credential, and are considered experts in the field. Across our 4 therapists we have 100 years of experience!
