I just wanted to give everyone a little heads-up about what the immediate future may look like at the salon.

As many of you already know, my brother Brian’s condition has progressed, and right now my priority outside of my own family is being there for him and his family whenever I’m needed.😞😞

Because of the nature of his illness, things can change very quickly. This unfortunately means there may be times when I need to cancel or reschedule appointments with very little notice. I know how frustrating last-minute changes can be, and I’ll always do my best to give as much notice as possible, but sometimes that simply may not be possible.

So many of you have followed Brian’s journey, donated, bought raffle tickets, sent messages and shown our family so much kindness already, so I know you’ll understand if I need to suddenly put down the scissors and be his sister for a while. ❤️

For now, I’m continuing to work and take appointments as normal — I just ask for a little patience and understanding if circumstances change unexpectedly.

Thank you for supporting not only my little business, but me and my family through what is an incredibly difficult time. It means more than you know. ❤️

💚 A little payment update 💚

Due to increasing EFTPOS fees, my preferred payment methods will now be cash or bank transfer.

I’m trying to keep my prices as reasonable as possible, and avoiding unnecessary transaction fees is one small way I can do that without passing another cost onto you.

EFTPOS is absolutely still available if you need it — cash or bank transfer is simply preferred where possible.

After keeping my prices the same for the past few years, I’ve unfortunately reached the point where I need to make a small increase to some services.

With the cost of professional products and running the salon continuing to rise, it’s something I can no longer avoid.

I’ve always tried to keep my prices fair while still providing quality products, time and care to every client who sits in my chair. 🤍

Thank you so much for your understanding and, most importantly, for continuing to support my little salon. I truly appreciate every one of you.

Because accommodation needs to be booked for specific dates, we’ve changed this to a $400 Parklake Hotel voucher instead — giving the lucky winner the flexibility to choose when and how they’d like to use it! 😍
