On Saturday, we had the amazing opportunity to provide free haircuts to community at the Q***r Multicultural Festival AGMC. With the help of my amazing stylist friends- we were able to deliver 19 free haircuts to community within a four hour period.
Events like this is why Sam’s Shears exists- it’s all about giving back to community wherever possible. Everyone deserves a haircut, no matter what barriers they face. If I can have a chat with a q***r person and give them a cut that actually reflects them- my job is done.
Thank you to the lovely AGMC for making this possible, along with Victorian Pride Centre for the lovely venue. Who can say they have cut hair under a rainbow… I can 🙋🏻♂️
