Admiring the current collection and realising how far I’ve come in the last few years. Building up hair extension stock is an investment that takes time and patience. Isn’t she beautiful?

My first hyacinth bulb has really come along. Keep swiping to see how much she grew in two days! Two weeks ago, this was literally a pot of dirt with some bulbs inside it!

Content creation is a huge part of my week. Here’s a sneak peek of something that’s on the way.

When your client’s mum (who is also a client 🥰) takes some action shots of the work in progress. It makes me cringe at how long it can take me to get the perfect shot sometimes. She just wants to get out and show the world her amazing, new hair and here I am, getting every hair in place for the “money shot” before she can leave 🤦🏽‍♀️

Belle’s brief was a little bit of length and volume, with finer ends that aren’t too heavy. We used a custom made weft for her, to bring out the warmer tones in her lovely, dark hair.

… and here she is just two days later! Hands up if you want a progress shot for next Friday.

I can’t wait to see this beauty in full bloom.

Meet Kaz 💙
Kaz was skeptical about wefts at first, in fact, she didn’t like it when I pinned one into her hair to give her an idea of what it would look like… despite that, by the end of our consultation, she decided to give them a try before her final verdict.

A former hairdresser, she knew exactly what she wanted to achieve, which was lightweight, natural-looking volume in a light, bright blonde. We used 50 grams 14 inch, custom-made wefts, cut to her preferred length and feathered out at the ends, to give her a softer, lighter finish.

Kaz loves the result, which looks so natural and soft, framing her face beautifully and, as someone who wears her hair in a ponytail most days, will have a much more lush pony to show off!

Because your clients deserve a customised solution to hair extensions!

Every client has a different hair type and density, so why would you use a great, big 5mm micro bead on a client with very fine hair, the same type of bead you use on a client with a thick, heavy mane? It defies logic and sets you up for slippage, fix ups and (worst of all) damage.

I keep five sizes of beads in my kit, in multiple colours, pre-loaded on bead threaders, to ensure that I have the correct bead for every client, ready to go at all times.

To all the hairdressers who recommend me to their clients, and all my loyal clients who recommend me to their family, friends and colleagues, thank you so much. It means a lot to me that you think my work is good enough to share.

When your ‘nail inspo’ Pinterest board is 50 shades of French and n**e and you finally happen upon the perfect shade of blushy, pastel pink at your nail salon, best believe that find is being permanently documented on the camera roll for future reference!

The very first flower of my spring bulbs this year. Clients will get to see my anemones and ranunculi blooming in the front garden within the next few weeks!

One of my favourite services is corrections. Reworking the layout of the colours for a better blend, finding a better placement for the client’s hair density and hairline, giving them a flatter, newer install than they thought possible… there’s so many things that make a hair extension install work and getting each one right is so important to achieve an optimal result.

Working from home, doing a job I love with a passion and spending every day in the company of my clients, is the best chapter of my whole career… I am so abundantly grateful for every day.

BRIDAL BRONDE 🤍

I had the pleasure of giving this beautiful bride a hair upgrade, today. She had amazing hair to start with, beautifully coloured by her hairdresser, but for her wedding day, she just wanted a little something extra, for a fuller, lusher hairstyle.

To achieve this look, we used 100 grams of 18 inch invisible weft with keratin bonds to frame her face. This gorgeous shade is an exclusive PRHE custom colour.

CUSTOM UPGRADE ✨

My new client is a seasoned hair extension wearer. She had one row of weft which was loaded with layers and layers of wefts inside it, making it heavy and overloaded. She also likes to wear her hair in a half-up-half-down style, which generally doesn’t work very well with a standard weft.

To achieve this soft, foiled look, we used approx. 75 grams of 16 inch wefts in one row of weft, and only took that around her head from ear to ear. To fill her front and sides, we used custom-made keratin bonds, made with her new colour and some of the brighter blonde wefts she was already wearing, to give a slightly brighter tone around her face.

The result is neat and tidy fullness in her ends and an install which works with her daily lifestyle, giving her the ability to wear the hairstyles she prefers.

BLONDE BRIDE 🤍

Georgia is getting married next week, and wanted to enhance her hair for the big day. She has lost a significant amount of weight I the last few years, and with that, a lot of hair too. Georgia says that her hair used to be very thick, but post weight loss, had really thinned out.
To give Georgia’s wedding hair stylist something more to work with, we added 100 grams of 18 inch hair extensions in three shades of foiled blonde, giving a soft, shiny result, which blends beautifully with her long, fine ends.

Is your wedding day approaching and you’re still not sure about whether to get the extensions? My advice is to just do it! MELISSA ✨

A perfect candidate for hair extensions, Melissa had amazing density on top, with fine, wispy ends. With naturally wavy hair which is heat styled on a daily basis and coloured blonde, she has a lot of breakage in the lengths of her hair and around her face, which is so common in clients who use hot tool regularly.

We custom-made a weft for her, using three shades, plus a darker root stretch, and achieved this transformation with just 50 grams of 14 inch hair.

KERATIN BOND FACE FRAME

This client will be having a full weft installation in the coming weeks, but with an upcoming holiday to Bali, didn’t want a fresh set of extensions to get damaged, so for the time being, we’ve applied keratin bonds around her face and above her ears, to fill in the gaps and give her back some fullness around her face.

This transformation uses custom-made, 14 inch wefts, which I’ve converted to keratin bonds, approximately half a gram each.

If your hair is getting finer and sparser around your face, and you want to add some volume back to the area, keratin bonds are the most discreet way to do so.
