4 years ago I had a random intrusive thought to start ripping up the carpet in our 4th room, and open a salon.

I had finished maternity leave, and was unable to secure daycare to go back into my corporate job. The plan was to work a few hours a week in the salon, whilst slowly Locking in more daycare days and then eventually Return part time.

Within 4 months of opening, my books were closed, and I was Over Capacity with clients. Then we needed to move into a bigger space.

The second salon was a journey in itself, with some of the best, and some of the most heartbreaking times I’ve endured as a business owner yet. There were times I had thoughts of just giving up and closing the business, but instead we rode the waves and WOW thankgod we did. We moved again, and secured a more Permanent location, and invited two more businesses to move into our space, and have NEVER looked back.

I’m so proud of what we have all created together.
